Background
There are many accidents worldwide involving a lorry pulling away from a loading bay before a forklift truck has finished unloading its contents.
The Brief
To adapt an existing product into a wireless version.
The Solution
A bayonet type fitting that senses when it is attached to a brake airline, and then sends a signal to a control panel indicating that the loading bay door can be opened. When the door is open a signal is sent back to the device telling it to lock itself to the coupling so that it cannot be removed.
